Terms of Purchase for Dodekaeder Publishing House

These terms of purchase apply to the purchase of goods from Dodekaeder Publishing House (part of the association Knowledge for the Harmonious Development of Man, 802526-5847), Aschebergsgatan 5, 411 27 Göteborg, Sweden, info@veidos.org.
General
Dodekaeder Publishing House sells books, magazines, CDs, etc. via the website www.veidos.org. By completing an order at www.veidos.org, the customer accepts these terms of purchase. Dodekaeder Publishing House reserves for any errors in the article information or elsewhere on the website.
Prices and fees
The current price, including Swedish VAT, is the price shown on the website when the order is placed. Dodekaeder Publishing House reserves the right to change the prices without prior notice.
Private customers living within the EU pay Swedish VAT, while private customers living outside the EU do not pay Swedish VAT.
Shipping costs
Current freight charges are shown when the order is placed.
Order
Goods can only be ordered on the website www.veidos.org. A binding agreement arises only when Dodekaeder Publishing House has confirmed the order by e-mail. Dodekaeder Publishing House reserves for ordered goods to be sold out.
A customer has the right to cancel goods by e-mail to Dodekaeder Publishing House until the ordered goods have been dispatched. Dispatch means that the customer has received an e-mail message that the order has been dispatched.
Messages from Dodekaeder Publishing House are sent to the e-mail address, which the customer has provided when ordering.
Customer account
A customer can register a customer account with Dodekaeder Publishing House and can get access to services such as order history, favourites, alerts, etc. Account registration requires that the customer registers name, social security number, e-mail address and postal address, as well as registering a username and password.
By registering, the customer accepts these terms of purchase as well as the contractual terms and conditions and gives consent to the processing of personal data. The customer is responsible for the correctness and completeness of the data registered on the customer account. The customer is responsible for not disclosing the username and password to anyone else.
Fast Checkout
A customer can also place an order via the Fast Checkout, but will not have access to the services that require a customer account. The customer enters a personal identity number, and chooses and registers username and password.
The customer accepts these terms of purchase as the contractual terms and conditions as well as giving consent to the processing of personal data. The customer is responsible for ensuring that correct and complete information is entered in the Fast Checkout.
Payment
Dodekaeder Publishing House offers payment by invoice. The invoice is enclosed with the shipment. Payment must be made to the association’s bankgiro number 5588-5776 no later than thirty (30) days after the order was received. The order number must be used as a payment reference.
Delivery
Delivery is normally made by parcel or letter. Dodekaeder Publishing House is responsible for the goods until delivery to the customer. The goods are considered delivered when the shipment is delivered to the mailbox, dropped off at the door of the residence, picked up at the agent or signed for upon delivery at the door.
If the goods are returned to Dodekaeder Publishing House, the customer is responsible for the goods. The goods are considered delivered to Dodekaeder Publishing House when the customer return is received by the publishing house.
If the customer does not pick up a shipment, or shipment is returned due to incorrectly registered information, Dodekaeder Publishing House has the option to charge a fee, as compensation for shipping and expenses.
Right of withdrawal
Private customers have the right to cancel a purchase, without giving any reason, within fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of the goods (“withdrawal period”). A customer who wishes to invoke the right of withdrawal must notify Dodekaeder Publishing House within the withdrawal period via info@veidos.org whereby the Swedish Consumer Agency’s withdrawal form can be used.
The customer shall at its own expense return the goods to Dodekaeder Publishing House without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen (14) days after the day, when the customer notified Dodekaeder Publishing House of the decision to withdraw from the agreement. The withdrawal period shall be deemed to have been observed if the customer returns the goods before this fourteen-day period has expired.
If a customer exercises the right of withdrawal, Dodekaeder Publishing House shall without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which Dodekaeder Publishing House was notified of the customer’s decision to withdraw from the agreement, refund the customer’s costs for the goods, including the cost of delivery. Dodekaeder Publishing House reserves the right, however, to make the refund at the earliest when the goods have been received back from the customer in original condition or the customer has sent Dodekaeder Publishing House proof that the goods have been returned.
Complaints
If Dodekaeder Publishing House has delivered a defective or damaged product or if the consignment has been lost in transit, the customer must complain about the purchase to Dodekaeder Publishing House via info@veidos.org. Complaints must be made within a reasonable time from the time the customer discovered or should have discovered the defect, but no later than three (3) years from the date of delivery. The complaint must contain information about the order number, invoice number and the product that the customer wants to complain about. Returns in the event of a complaint may only be made once the complaint has been made and return instructions have been received from Dodekaeder Publishing House.
The customer has the right to return defective goods at Dodekaeder Förlag’s expense provided that the customer follows Dodekaeder Publishing House’s instructions. Returns may not be made against cash on delivery.
In case of an accepted complaint, the customer has the right to:
– receive a new, faultless product free of charge,
– keep the goods and receive an agreed price reduction, or
– cancel the purchase, in which case the goods will be returned and any payment made will be refunded.
Liability
In addition to what is stated in these terms of purchase, consumer legislation or other mandatory law, Dodekaeder Publishing House has no liability for defects or delays in connection with the purchase. Dodekaeder Publishing House is not responsible for the content of other websites to which links are provided from www.veidos.org.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that unauthorized persons do not gain access to the username and password of the customer account.
Personal data processing
Dodekaeder Publishing House’s personal data processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the association’s Privacy Policy. By accepting these terms of purchase, the customer also accepts the terms of the Association’s Privacy Policy for the personal data processing, which takes place in connection with the order.
Modification of the conditions
These terms and conditions of purchase are valid until further notice and may be changed by Dodekaeder Publishing House without prior notice. However, once a customer has placed an order, Dodekaeder Publishing House does not have the right to change the terms and conditions of the current order.
Dispute
In the event of a dispute that a customer and Dodekaeder Publishing House cannot resolve on their own, a consumer may have the dispute heard by the The National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), whose recommendations Dodekaeder Publishing House follows (read more at www.arn.se and www.konsumentverket.se). A dispute may always be settled by a Swedish court applying Swedish law.
