General Terms and Conditions for Dodekaeder Förlag’s Bookstore

Dodekaeder Förlag sells books via the website By completing an order at, the customer accepts these general terms and conditions. Dodekaeder Förlag reserves for any errors in the article information and on the website.

Prices and fees
The current book price, including Swedish VAT, is the price shown on the website when the order is placed. Dodekaeder Förlag reserves the right to change the book prices without prior notice. Private customers living within the EU pay Swedish VAT, while private customers living outside the EU do not pay Swedish VAT.

Shipping costs for delivery within Sweden

Shipping costs for deliveries outside Sweden
For deliveries outside Sweden, a freight charge based on Dodekaeder Förlag’s cost for the delivery and, where applicable, import and customs duties will be added. This cost is charged per physical delivery and not per order.

Ordering books can only be done on the website A binding agreement arises only when Dodekaeder Förlag has confirmed the order by e-mail. Dodekaeder Förlag reserves for ordered books to be sold out.

A customer has the right to cancel all or part of his/her order by e-mail to and before Dodekaeder Förlag has dispatched the book(s). Dispatch means that the customer has received an e-mail or SMS stating that the order has been sent or is available for collection.

Messages from Dodekaeder Förlag are normally sent to the e-mail address provided by the customer when placing the order.

Account Registration and Account
A customer who orders via an account with Dodekaeder Förlag will, after logging in, have access to services such as order history, favourites, alerts, etc. Account registration requires the customer to register his/her name, personal identity number, e-mail address and postal address. A customer who chooses card as payment method does not need to register a personal identity number. The customer chooses and registers a username and password.

By registering, the customer accepts these general terms and conditions as well as the contractual terms and conditions and gives consent to the processing of personal data. The customer is responsible for ensuring that correct and complete information is registered on the account. The customer is responsible for not disclosing the user name and password to anyone other than the person authorised to place book orders on his/her behalf.

Fast Checkout
A customer may also place an order via the Fast Checkout but will not have access to services requiring a login. The customer enters a personal identity number and chooses and registers a user name and password.

The customer accepts these general terms and conditions as well as the contractual terms and conditions and gives consent to the processing of personal data. The customer is responsible for ensuring that correct and complete information is entered in the fast checkout.

Dodekaeder Förlag offers a payment solution in cooperation with Klarna. More information about Klarna’s payment methods or your payment can be found on or in the Klarna app. By completing a purchase in the checkout, a customer agrees to both Dodekaeder Förlag’s general terms and conditions and Klarna’s terms and conditions as well as Klarna’s handling of personal data. Delivery is normally made by parcel or by letter. If the delivery time is expected to be longer than stated on the Dodekaeder Förlag website, the customer will be notified by e-mail, who then has the right to cancel their order by e-mail before dispatch has taken place.

Dodekaeder Förlag is responsible for the goods until delivery to the customer. The goods are considered delivered when the shipment is delivered to the mailbox, dropped off at the door of the residence, picked up at the agent or signed for upon delivery at the door. The customer is responsible for the goods when they are returned to Dodekaeder Förlag. The goods are considered delivered to Dodekaeder Förlag when the customer return is received by the publisher.

If the customer does not collect a shipment, or the shipment is returned due to incorrectly registered information, Dodekaeder Förlag has the option to charge a fee, as compensation for shipping and expenses. In case of return from abroad, Dodekaeder Förlag has the right to charge the customer all shipping costs for the shipment as well as a fee as compensation for handling and expenses.

Private customers have the right to cancel a purchase, without giving any reason, within fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt of the goods (“withdrawal period”). A customer who wishes to invoke the right of withdrawal must notify Dodekaeder Förlag within the withdrawal period via whereby the Swedish Consumer Agency’s withdrawal form can be used.

The customer shall at its own expense return the goods to Dodekaeder Förlag without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen (14) days after the date on which the customer notified Dodekaeder Förlag of the decision to withdraw from the agreement. The withdrawal period shall be deemed to have been observed if the customer returns the goods before this fourteen-day period has expired.

If a customer exercises the right of withdrawal, Dodekaeder Förlag shall without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the date on which Dodekaeder Förlag was notified of the customer’s decision to withdraw from the agreement refund the customer’s costs for the goods including the delivery cost. However, Dodekaeder Förlag reserves the right to make the refund at the earliest when the goods have been received in return from the customer or the customer has provided Dodekaeder Förlag with proof that the goods have been returned.

If Dodekaeder Förlag has delivered a defective or damaged product or if the shipment has been lost in transit, the customer must complain about the purchase to Dodekaeder Förlag via Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the customer discovered or should have discovered the defect, but no later than three (3) years from the date of delivery. The complaint must contain information about the order number, invoice number and book title that the customer wants to complain about. Returns in the event of a complaint may only be made once the complaint has been made and return instructions have been received from Dodekaeder Förlag. The customer has the right to return the faulty book at Dodekaeder Förlag’s expense provided that the customer follows Dodekaeder Förlag’s instructions. Returns may not be made against cash on delivery or COD.

In case of an accepted complaint, the customer has the right to:
receive a new, faultless product free of charge, keep the product and receive an agreed price reduction, or cancel the purchase, in which case the product will be returned and any payment made will be refunded.

In addition to what is stated in these general terms and conditions and consumer legislation, Dodekaeder Förlag has no liability for errors or delays in connection with the purchase. Dodekaeder Förlag is not responsible for unauthorized access to or alteration of what a customer has obtained through the website or for the possible criminal use of such by others. Dodekaeder Förlag is not responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused by the use of or inability to use the website. Under no circumstances will Dodekaeder Publishing’s liability exceed the amount paid for the purchase in question.

The above does not apply if damage has occurred due to Dodekaeder Förlag’s intent or gross negligence or if otherwise follows from mandatory law.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that no unauthorized person gains access to the Customer’s username and password.

Personal data processing
Dodekaeder Förlag’s personal data processing is carried out in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Association Knowledge for the Harmonious Human Development’s Privacy Policy.

By accepting these general terms and conditions, the customer gives consent to this personal data processing.

Modification of the terms and conditions
These general terms and conditions are valid until further notice and may be changed by Dodekaeder Förlag without prior notice. After a customer has placed an order, Dodekaeder Förlag does not have the right to change its terms and conditions for the current order.

Swedish law shall apply to all purchases from Dodekaeder Förlag. Disputes shall be settled in and by the Swedish general court. Consumers may also have disputes arising from the Terms of Contract tried by the General Complaints Board (ARN), whose recommendations Dodekaeder Publishers follows.
